The Arkansas Children’s Hospital has been serving the needs of children in Arkansas and beyond for more than 100 years. It consists of two hospitals, a pediatric research institute, a foundation, clinics and more with a staff consisting of more than 500 physicians, 200 residents and 4000 supporting staff.
George Cobb, a talent sourcer at the hospital, needed to increase the efficiency of sourcing for large volumes of reqs. Being a large hospital that required a lot of manpower, George wanted to speed up the process of getting good information on qualified candidates to keep up with workplace demands.
The healthcare field faces nationwide challenges of acquiring talent for hard-to-fill roles, and similarly, he was trying to drill down on his search for bilingual nurses and operating room nurses.
“There were things that I liked about sourcing and there were things that I didn’t like about it like doing Boolean search strings,” said George. “But I found Hiretual and the next thing I know, I’m like this is awesome it’s doing all these things for me.”
Finding niche talents in a short amount of time was a solution that was needed to address shortages of medical personnel in the pediatric world.
“Before using Hiretual, it was slower finding these people and there were a lot of roadblocks, I just don’t have the time for that,” said George.
